NEW YORK and SÃO PAULO, October 3, 2022 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it represented GCM Mining Corporation, a Canadian gold mining company with operations and interests primarily in Colombia and Guyana, on its merger with Aris Gold Corporation, a Canadian gold company with operations in Colombia. The merger was agreed pursuant to a British Columbia, Canada plan of arrangement structured as an exchange of shares among shareholders of both companies. The transaction was originally announced in July 2022 and closed in September 2022.
The combined entity, Aris Mining Corp., is a top-in-class company with multiple tier-one assets, including two producing mines, two advanced development projects and an advanced stage exploration project in the Americas.
