Harriet advises alternative lenders and private credit funds on a range of matters, and has expertise on direct lending and unitranche financings, junior financings, first out/last out structures, holdco PIK, co-investments, capital solutions and hybrid capital. Her extensive experience covers a wide range of UK, European and cross-border transactions, from the lower-middle market right through to the upper markets.
Harriet has won mandates from leading names in the private credit market and has worked on circa 100 private credit deals over the past four years. Harriet is a strong advocate for women within the private credit industry and established the Proskauer Women in Private Credit initiative.
Among Harriet’s most notable client work this year was her representation of Pemberton Asset Management in its role as unitranche lender to support Exponent in its investment into Kingsbridge Healthcare Group and its role as senior secured lender to Fletchers Solicitors to refinance the acquisition of the Group and various add-on acquisitions by the sponsor Sun Capital Partners and her representation of one of Europe’s largest asset managers on its role as unitranche lender to support Novo Holding’s investment into Single Use Support Group.
