NEW YORK, May 22, 2025 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it represented the underwriters in the senior notes offering by Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR) through its operating partnership, ERP Operating Limited Partnership (“ERP”). ERP sold $500 million in aggregate principal amount of its 4.950% Notes due June 15, 2032, in a public offering pursuant to an automatically effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3. Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acted as joint book-running managers and representatives of the several underwriters on the transaction.
The senior notes offering settled on May 12, 2025. Equity Residential intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for working capital and general company purposes.
