BOSTON, Oct. 11, 2021 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it advised RA Capital Management, LP, a multi-stage investment manager dedicated to evidence-based investing in public and private healthcare and life science companies, on the formation of RA Capital Nexus Fund III (“Nexus III”). The fund, which held a single close, significantly exceeded its target of $800 million, raising $880 million in commitments.
This is the second fund that Proskauer has counseled RA Capital on. In 2020, the Firm advised RA Capital on the first and final closing of their RA Capital Nexus Fund II. Like Nexus III, that fund also exceeded its target of $350 million, with $461 million total raised.
