PARIS, March 24, 2025 – Proskauer has advised Meanings Capital Partners, a leading private equity investment firm specializing in Small Cap & Mid Cap segments, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Emresa through its Meanings Private Equity Growth (MPEG) fund, alongside individual co-investors Elodie Wehrlé and Cédric Voz.
Operating under the commercial brand Sympass, the Luxembourg-based company has established itself as a leader in employee benefits and services through a network of partners located in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, and Germany.
As the leading provider of employee benefits (including discounts, ticketing services, and concierge services) in Luxembourg, where its Sympass brand enjoys strong recognition, Emresa has experienced continuous growth over the past 20 years.
The company serves approximately 600 corporate clients, ranging from small businesses to large enterprises, and reaches over 100,000 employees. It collaborates with more than 1,000 partners and merchants across Luxembourg, France, Belgium, and Germany, maintaining strong relationships with these stakeholders.
A key strength of its offering is enhancing employees' purchasing power by providing both a national offering (via ticketing services) and a local offering (through partnerships with nearby merchants). This dual approach sets Emresa apart in a market with no comparable alternatives.
Meanings Capital Partners' objective is to support the company's growth in new territories, helping it achieve a leading position in the employee benefits sector. This expansion will involve strengthening the sales team to drive market penetration and maintaining robust organic growth.
