PARIS, October 2, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it has advised LBO France in connection with ITAB Shop Concept’s offer to acquire the HMY Group, a supplier of store equipment, checkout systems, and store design for retailers, primarily in Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
This deal will strengthen ITAB’s position across Western and Southern Europe while expanding its reach into South America and the Middle East and is subject to regulatory conditions.
This acquisition will provide ITAB with a larger customer base, strengthen ITAB's position in the retail markets of Western and Southern Europe, and offer complementary geographical benefits thanks to HMY's presence in Spain, France, Turkey, and Central and South America.
The Proskauer team advising LBO France was led by partner Xavier Norlain and included associates Julien Burger and Marine Petot (M&A). The team also included partner Maud Manon, counsel Pierre Tardivo and associate Charlie Gelbon (Finance), and partner Mary Wilks (Antitrust).
