Elise Bloom, Sandy Crawshaw-Sparks and Margaret Dale Recognized for Ninth Consecutive Year
NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, August 18, 2025 – Proskauer is honored to share that Benchmark Litigation has named partners Elise Bloom, Sandra (“Sandy”) Crawshaw-Sparks and Margaret Dale to its annual list of “Top 250 Women in Litigation” for the ninth consecutive year. This award celebrates elite women litigators whose advocacy, leadership and influence have shaped the legal landscape both inside and outside the courtroom.
Elise is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading employment lawyers, renowned for her work on high-stakes matters involving major national employers. With more than three decades of experience, she has successfully represented clients in complex discrimination, wage and hour, and class and collective actions, including serving as lead counsel in high-profile disputes for premier sports leagues and media and entertainment companies. Beyond litigation, Elise is a trusted advisor on a broad range of labor and employment management issues. She previously served as co-chair of Proskauer’s Labor & Employment Department, co-head of the Class & Collective Actions Group, and for two terms on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Sandy is a respected entertainment industry litigator with over 37 years of success. As Chair of the Firm’s Entertainment, Copyright and Media Group, she leads a bi-coastal practice with a focus on music. Sandy represents the most iconic names in music on recording, publishing, licensing and management agreements, copyright and trademark infringement, unfair competition claims, and rights of privacy and publicity. She has secured major victories for recording artists, songwriters, record labels, and music publishers in a variety of litigation and transactional matters. Sandy is the National Legal Counsel for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and has long served as an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Academy’s Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the GRAMMY Museum’s Entertainment Law Initiative.
Margaret is a seasoned trial lawyer and first-chair litigator handling complex business disputes across several industries, including consumer products, media and entertainment, financial services, telecommunications and technology and higher education. Her practice covers commercial disputes including contract matters, bankruptcy and insolvency, securities, corporate governance, asset management, M&A, intellectual property, privacy and data security. She also counsels clients before litigation commences to assess risk, develop strategies to minimize or avoid disputes and resolve matters outside of the courtroom. Margaret is the former Vice Chair of the Litigation Department.
