Xavier Couderc-Fani is a senior associate in the Private Funds Group and a member of the firm's Private Capital industry group.
Xavier has significant experience in all aspects of international complex fund structures and regulatory advice (such as AIFM approval), having focused on private investment funds in France and Luxembourg.
Xavier advises clients, including private equity firms and other asset managers, on all legal and regulatory matters relating to the structuring, formation, fundraising and operation of regulated and non-regulated investment funds. He also advises sponsors of private investment funds (private equity funds, real estate funds, debt funds, infrastructure funds, funds of funds) and their related operations and transactions, including carried interest, co-investment arrangements and secondary transactions.
Xavier received a Specialized Master's in International Law and Management from ESCP Europe Paris in 2014. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Business Law (IDA) of the Aix-Marseille University where he holds a Master of Law (Master 2) in International Business Law and a Corporation Counsel’s Jurist Diploma (DJCE) (2013).
