Peter Mason is a partner in the Firm's Global Finance practice, London’s Leveraged Finance team and a member of the Firm’s Private Capital industry group.
Peter advises lenders, sponsors, corporates, banks and other non-bank financial institutions and alternative capital providers on a variety of finance transactions including leveraged, investment-grade and real estate financings, refinancings and restructurings, with particular experience in acquisition financing using European and New York-style Term Loan B, bank/bond and direct lending/unitranche structures.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Peter’s representative matters include advising:
- Advised Barclays as Global Coordinator and Lead Arranger and Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Rabobank as Lead Arrangers on the €660 million syndicated refinancing of a CVC Capital portfolio company.
- Advised a club of private credit funds on the senior secured financing to support ADIA, CVC Capital Partners and Nordic Capital's offer to acquire leading UK financial services private investment provider Hargreaves Lansdown plc.
- Advised Carlyle Global Credit on the NOK2,750,000,000 PIK financing to support the management buyout of the Jordanes Group, a Scandanavian consumer products and services group.
- Advised Three Hills Capital Partners and Barings on the PIK financing to support DBay Advisor's recommended offer to acquire Alliance Pharma PLC, a UK listed healthcare business.
- Advised Blackstone Credit, Sixth Street, Park Square Capital, SMBC and the other term financiers on CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of a majority interest in Sogelink Group, a leading European provider of software solutions for infrastructure, construction and property management professionals.
- Advised Blackstone Credit on the refinancing of Acuity Knowledge Partners, a research and data company owned by Permira Holdings.
- Advised the RCF lender on the financing to support Thoma Bravo's investment in USU Product Business, an IT management solutions business headquartered in Germany.
- Advised HSBC as RCF lender, on the refinancing provided to Sterling Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical development and manufacturing organisation owned by GHO Capital and Partners Group.
- Advised OEG Group, an Oaktree portfolio company that provides specialised offshore solutions for the energy industry, on its bridge financing and revolving credit facilities in connection with its debut high-yield issuance.
- Advised Partners Group on the refinancing of the bridge loan used by Insight Partners to acquire Kabal Holdings Group, a leading logistics software provider for oil and gas operators.
- Advised Pemberton Asset Management on the ongoing financing needs of Vitaldent, an Advent portfolio company.
