Olivia Short is a partner in the Private Funds Group and a member of the Firm's Private Capital industry group.

Olivia advises fund managers, from first-time to high profile sponsors, in the private equity and venture capital space on a range of issues. Olivia’s engagements encompass the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, fundraising, co-investments, internal governance, carried interest arrangements and ongoing fund maintenance. She also advises various institutional investors on primary investments and secondary transactions, and she also has experience on GP-led transactions.

Olivia’s experience includes a secondment at Hg, where she gained valuable, first-hand insight into an asset manager’s operations and strategic goals.

Olivia has experience advising a wide range of private investment firms, select clients include Hg, Atomico, Blossom Capital and EMK Capital.  

Olivia serves as a steering committee member of the Firm’s Women’s Alliance and is committed to the Firm’s and her client’s diversity initiatives and efforts.
