Mark Pollak is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Investment Funds Group.
Mark advises private equity and hedge fund managers on fund formation, structuring, and operations, including the drafting and negotiation of core and ancillary documents such as limited partnership agreements, private placement memoranda, investment management agreements, and side letters with institutional investors. He also provides counsel on regulatory matters, including licensing, disclosure obligations, and related filings.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Mark was a corporate associate in the Investment Funds Group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
A graduate of Columbia Law School, Mark was recognized as a James Kent Scholar and served as a staff editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. He also completed a legal externship with the Hon. Vera M. Scanlon, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mark is admitted to practice in New York.
