Maegan O’Rourke is an associate in the Private Funds Group. She focuses her practice on representing secondary clients in connection with complex secondary transactions, including buyers and sellers in traditional portfolio sales of fund interests as well as private fund sponsors and lead investors in GP-led continuation vehicle transactions.

Maegan represents some of the most active secondary investors in the market, and select clients include Ardian, Ares Management, Churchill Asset Management, CPP Investments (CPPIB), Dawson Partners, Glouston Capital Partners, Intermediate Capital Group, RCP, and StepStone Group, among others.

She has experience counseling private fund sponsors on all aspects of their business, including fund structuring and formation, co-investment funds and managed accounts, regulatory issues and compliance, and day-to-day management and operations.

Maegan completed a secondment in the private funds group at PineBridge Investments, where she gained valuable insight into the business and legal needs of the institution and those similar to it.
