Karl Xia is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of The Private Credit Group.

Karl represents private credit providers in financing transactions, including private debt funds, business development companies, specialty finance companies, insurance companies and other investors. Karl has experience in a variety of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, unitranche, first and second lien, secured and unsecured mezzanine, split collateral, holdco, and other deal structures. Karl’s practice includes acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, refinancings, dividend recapitalizations, restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings and other transactions across a wide range of industries.

Karl received his J.D. from NYU School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University.
