Hannah G. Silverman

Hannah Silverman is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust, Mass Torts & Product Liability and Trials Groups. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation across a broad range of industries, including consumer products, agriculture, sports, and pharmaceuticals. Hannah has experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, briefing dispositive and discovery motions, and preparing witnesses for depositions and trial. She has represented clients in both state and federal courts as well as in arbitrations and government investigations.

Hannah has been an integral member of successful trial teams in both state and federal courts. Most recently, she was part of the team that secured a landmark victory for Sanderson Farms in one of the largest antitrust price-fixing trials to date. After a six-week jury trial in the Northern District of Illinois, the jury returned a complete defense verdict, defeating $7 billion in damages. This win earned the Firm “Impact Case of the Year” award at the Benchmark Litigation 2025 U.S. Awards. Hannah was also a member of several trial teams representing Monsanto in cases involving the herbicide Roundup, securing full defense verdicts or achieving favorable settlements.

Hannah is a member of the Federal Bar Council American Inn of Court. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, advocating on behalf of asylum seekers and indigent clients in landlord-tenant disputes.

Hannah earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law. During law school, she served as an articles and notes editor of the Fordham Law Review and as an associate editor of the Dispute Resolution Society. Hannah also served as a legal writing advisor to first-year students.  She authored “The Role of ‘Coordinating Discovery Attorneys’ in Multidefendant Federal Criminal Cases,” 88 Fordham L. Rev. 1173 (2019), which received the Mary Daly Graduation Prize in Legal Ethics.
