Duncan Evans is a partner in the Private Funds Group and a member of the Firm's Private Capital industry group.
Duncan's practice focuses on advising sponsors and investors on complex secondary transactions across the private markets. He has extensive experience acting on portfolio acquisitions and sales, continuation funds, tender offers, preferred equity financings, collateralised fund obligations and a broad range of other structured secondary transactions. Duncan has advised on some of the largest and most innovative secondary transactions completed to date, and is recognised for his ability to navigate novel transaction structures and market developments.
In addition to his secondaries work, Duncan advises fund sponsors in all aspects of their business, including on the structuring, establishment, fundraising and ongoing operation of private investment funds, and in designing their carried interest and co-investment arrangements.
Duncan also represents a range of institutional investors on their commitments to private investment funds and co-investment structures.
Duncan was named one of Private Equity International’s and Secondaries Investor’s Next Gen Leaders of Secondaries: Class of 2025.
