Ashley Alger is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust and Intellectual Property groups. She has substantial experience in a wide range of complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, antitrust, false advertising, reputational harm and regulatory compliance.
Ashley counsels clients across a diverse array of industries, including technology, consumer goods, entertainment and professional services. She has represented both businesses and individuals in civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts across the country.
Before entering private practice, Ashley served as a trial attorney with The Bronx Defenders’ Criminal Defense Practice, where she litigated hundreds of cases and secured acquittals in jury trials. Her courtroom experience includes successful pretrial motions and evidentiary hearings, providing her with a strong foundation in trial advocacy and strategic litigation.
Ashley began her career in education and nonprofit operations, including roles as a special education teacher and as assistant director of operations for the International Innovation Corps during its founding year.
